Kenya forward Michael Olunga has urged his teammates to move on from their shock defeat against Sierra Leone in the opening fixture of the 2019 AFCON qualifier ahead of their Saturday's clash against Ghana.

Olunga, who signed a three-year contract with Japanese League side, Kashiwa Reysol, has rallied Sebastien Migne charges to concrete on the assignment ahead when Stars hosts Ghana’s Black Stars in the Afcon Qualifier.

Harambee Stars fell to Sierra Leone in the opening Group F match, a game that Olunga scored Kenya’s consolation in the 76th minute after Julius Wabay and Bangura hit the net for the hosts in either half.

“It’s an honour to represent the country. We are aware that Ghana is a good team, but we are going to play at home and we have people to back us up because we are going to give it a push.

“Everyone is geared up. It’s unfortunate we lost the opening match, but now we have to focus on Ghana which is a vital game,” Olunga told Goal.

Olunga, who moved to Japan after a successful loan spell with Spanish side Girona, is not giving up on Kenya’s chances of booking a first Afcon ticket since 2004; when he was just ten years old.
