Three-time Ghana Beach Soccer League Champions Keta Sunset SC on Sunday booked a place in the finals of Kebbi Beach Soccer Championship in Nigeria.

The Ghanaians pulled off the performance of the tournament so far with a stunning 9-4 win over highly rated Sokoto Beach Soccer Club.

The Keta club lost their opening game to defending champions Kogi Confluence BSC 3-1 on matchday 1 having gone into the game less than 24hrs after arrival via a 2day bus journey from Lagos to the north west state of Kibbi.

The match day 2 saw the Keta boys put up a typical display by banging in the goals from onset. Former Ghana Captain Julius Ceasar Beckley who made a playing return after a period out was the toast of local fans as he recorded an impressive hattrick in the "do or die" battle.

Governor of Kibbi State Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who witnessed the game was presented with a souvenir from CEO of the Ghanaian side Dzidodo Ruben Adjahoe ahead of kick off.

Sunset Sports now head into their final match of the tournament against host Kibbi BSC with a mathematical chance of clinching the ultimate despite defending champions Kibbi holding the advantage after they dispatched the host7-4 on their match day two fixture.
