Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has returned to US Sassuolo training after he was cleared by the medical team of the club.
The 32-year-old had to make way for Stefano Sensi on the 60th minute mark after suffering a muscular problem during the Neroverdi's 2-1 loss against Parma last Sunday.
The former Las Palmas star however returned to training on Tuesday at the Ricci Stadium but was directed by the medical team to do a light work.
He is expected to join up with the squad for their double training on Wednesday as Roberto De Zerbi's side continues their preparations for Sunday's game against resurgent Udinese at the Mapei Stadium.
Boateng has scored four goals in 11 appearances for the side in the ongoing Italian Serie A campaign.
