AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi wants Kevin-Prince Boateng to play as a striker.
The 28-year-old has been training with the Rossoneri with a view of landing a permanent deal in January.
The Ghana international has largely been deployed as an offensive midfielder throughout his career.
But AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is urging the former Portsmouth man to try out a striker’s role.
“I have seen a gradual improvement, we abandoned some schemes that did not work,” he said
“Now we’re doing ground ball and possession. I regret not having Menez, who was the designated playmaker.
“With Boateng, I see a striker in him always. He has to play upfront.”
Boateng is expected to sign a short-term deal with the Italian side after being frozen out at German side Schalke 04.
