Ghanaian brothers Kevin and Jerome Boateng have paid a glowing tribute to Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, who is calling time on a glittering career on the tracks after the World Championship in London.

The eight time Olympic gold medalist will be retiring from the track after he announced at the Rio Olympics that London 2017 will be his last competition.

Bolt failed to defend his world championship gold medal after placing third in the 100m finals, which was won by longtime rival Justin Gatlin.

Usain Bolt will run in the 4x100 metres relay heats for Jamaica on Saturday despite being a bit sore after winning bronze in the 100m final at the weekend.

The Boateng brothers posted on twitter a picture of them and the legendary runner saying,” The GOAT left the big Stage ????????Now enjoy your time after your career, @usainbolt! #respect.”
