News broke on Thursday June 11 that the former Ghana striker had joined the Cezch Amateur side ad their new head coach.
However in an exclusive chat with FootballMadeinGhana.com, Grant has provided a detailed explanation as to his exact role at the side.
“Regards to Prague Raptors I’ve only gone there on a voluntary basis and just keeping myself busy and abreast of further increasing my coaching and management education on a personal note for myself,” he told FMIG.
Kim Grant further revealed that this is to help keep him up to date with “new methodologies in coaching and support the club putting in place new key footballing structures both on and off the field, supporting their young technical coaching department with advice, training sessions and using my experience to help develop them as coaches and also the players.
On whether he has a contract running with Prague Raptors, Grant denied and spelt out what exactly his tenure is with them.
“I’m not tied to them and can leave whenever I want. I’ve known the president, Mr. Daz Moss, for a couple of years now and are in constant communication,” he told FMIG.
“We discussed his excellent project that’s being put in place and he is more than happy for me to come in to support and help out which is great for both of us. He is my very good friend, So I’m only helping and supporting the club in that respect,” Grant concluded.
