King Faisal beat Kade Hotspurs

At the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi, King Faisal beat visiting Kade Hotspurs 3-2 in their GT mid-week Premier League match. Faisal dominated play from the beginning but had to wait until the 45th minute before they took the lead through Abubakar Yahuza. They scored the second goal in the 68th minute when Kwadwo Ofosu Micky when he connected home a cross from Ben Wilson. Hotspurs, not perturbed by the goals pulled a goal back in the 72nd minute through substitute Amui Quaye after referee Mercy Tagoe Quarcoo had disallowed a goal they scored in the 61st minute.

Edmund Owusu-Peprah increased the tally for Faisal in the 80th minute from Ben Wilson's corner kick while Eric Gawu missed the post narrowly two minutes later. Hotspurs made a last minute onslaught and this paid off for them when Morrison Osei redeemed a goal during the added time to bring the final scores to 3-2.
