King Faisal have placed another injunction on the Ghana league insisting the football governing body in the West African country has not followed orders issued by the Accra High Court.

The club secured the injunction at the Human Rights Unit of the Accra Fast Track High Court on Thursday. The court is restraining the Ghana FA from holding its congress to kick-start the season, until a case involving the club and Aduana Stars has been conclusively dealt with.

However, the court overruled the injunction to pave way for congress on December 30, 2014 insisting that the case must still proceed in court, adding that there must be an undertaken to ensure that King Faisal will be reinstated in the league when they win the case.

King Faisal were in court Friday to get yet another injunction to halt the commencement of the league expected to commence this weekend.

Meanwhile, the Ghana FA has rubbished such reports noting that the league will come off as planned.

“The Ghana Football Association (GFA) can today confirm that all match-day-1 Premier League matches will be played as scheduled. Clubs, match-day officials and the general public are to disregard reports in sections of the media that the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League will not kick off on Saturday January 17, 2015 as planned,” a statement said on its website.
