Central region second division league leaders, Mankessim King Hussein, on Sunday drowned Saltpond NICPSD in their own back-yard when they beat them 12 -0 in their league match thus consolidating their position with 34 points.
Half-time scores, stood at 5-0, and the man who was instrumental for his team's victory, was inside right Bedia Aidoo, who scored four goals in the match.
Right from the start, King Hussein took absolute command and opened the scoring through Aidoo in the 10th minute and they continued to pile pressure on the home team scoring four more goals through Aidoo, James Beduson, Emmanuel Nyarko and Ragba Dunga in the 15th, 20th, 30th and 35th minutes respectively.
On resumption, the Saltpond boys made some changes but that did not deter their opponents from scoring seven more goals. Substitute Cadwell Appiah, scored a hat-trick in the 60th, 70th and 85th minutes, while Aidoo and Mohammed Adamu fetched the remaining goals to seal the doom of the homesters.
