Kingsley Boateng delighted to join Serie C side Siena

Siena forward Kingsley Boateng says he is delighted to have joined the Serie C on loan from Ternana.

The 25-year-old completed the move to the Serie C side on transfer deadline day.

Boateng was on loan at Juve Stabia were he made four appearances in the Serie B before been loaned out.

The Ghanaian-Italian footballer made the move in search of more play time.

Speaking to reporters after completing the move to the Serie C side, he said, "They were smooth negotiations".

"I contacted the manager shortly before the market closed and then I knew that this was an opportunity that I had to seize".

"I immediately decided to take the opportunity, because Siena is a great club.

"I want to prove myself here and I think we can achieve great results together. "

The former AC Milan player has failed to meet expectations since leaving the San Siro.

The 25-year-old had unsuccessful spells at Catania, NAC Breda, Bari and Olimpija
