Richard "Olele" Kingson says he will quit international football after the 2014 World Cup after what would have been 20 years of service to Ghana.
The Blackpool goalkeeper has made the Ghana goalkeeper's jersey his personal property but reckons it will be time to give others the chance after the tournament n Brazil.
Kingson who started playing for the Black Stars in the mid 90s is confident he can help the Black Stars reach the Brazil event put in an outstanding performance and go out on a high after playing more than 85 times for Ghana.
"I think after the 2014 World Cup, it will be time to say give others a chance but I want to go out on a high," he told the Oti Adjei Report said to debut on TV3 in the coming weeks. "I have been playing for the Black Stars for a very long time and I a thinking the time to go is coming."
The goalkeeper has played for Ghana in two World Cups and two Nations Cups and wants to mark his career with Nations Cup glory next year.
"We have done well so far but it is time to win and if we work hard, we stand a chance next year. It is something everyone within the squad recognises."
