Laryea Kingston faces a race against time to recover from injury and take part in what could be his final game for Hearts next week
The 26-year-old midfielder limped off during Saturday's 2-0 SPL win at home to Hibernian with an ankle knock and later re-appeared on crutches as the players returned to the field to acknowledge the fans after their last match of the season at Tynecastle.
Kingston has been a huge hit since joining on loan from Terek Grozny but no decision has been made on whether his move to Hearts will be a permanent one.
Assistant head coach Stevie Frail said: "We will need to assess him.
"I don't know the situation with his loan deal, you would need to speak to people further up than me. But hopefully we can get him fit and take it from there."
