German coach Klaus Toppmoller is expected in Ghana next month to begin work with Ghana Premier League club New Edubiase.
The 63-year-old who was linked to the Black Stars technical director job before the 2014 World Cup is expected in the country in September to further talks towards taking up a role with the Berkwai-based club.
Edubiase have had advanced talks with the former Eintracht Frankfurt trainer since his first arrival in Ghana in November last year where he was reportedly set to take up the technical director job with the Ghana FA.
It has now emerged that he was in Ghana to consider an offer from the Ghana Premier League club who have aspirations to challenge for top honours in the coming season.
Toppmoller will be expected to use his vast coaching experience to improve the technical efficiency of the club once he accepts to the offer.
He is also to use his eternal links to secure sponsorship for the club.

“We have held discussions with [Klaus] Toppmoller towards coming to help the club technically,” he told Asempa FM.
“We have held advanced talks with his representatives and we are expecting him in Ghana in September to continue with talks.”
