Maxwell Konadu, coach of the local Black Stars will attend a team workshop in Johannesburg for qualified countries for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in South Africa this week.
The October 4- event is being organised for all 16 qualified teams for the biannual tournament and will entail an inspection of the facilities at the various venues for the tournament.
Konadu is expected to lead the Ghanaian team to their successive appearance at the tournament reserved for indigenous players.
Representatives of the qualified countries will join Konadu for the tour expected to access the readiness of host nation for the three-week competition.
Ghana have been pitted in Group C alongside Congo, Ethiopia and Libya for the tournament expected to produce 32 exciting games over three weeks.
Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Polokwane and Kimberley will host the competition which runs from January 11 to February 1, 2014.
