Korean Residents Association games scheduled for Nov. 6

Tema, Nov. 4, GNA - The third annual Korean Residents Association soccer competition would be held at Tema Sports Stadium on Saturday, November 6.

Mr Kofi Yim, President of the Association who disclosed this at Tema on Thursday said 19 Senior High Schools from Tema and Ashiaman townships are expected to participate in the competition.

He said the event to be organized in collaboration with the Tema Metropolitan Education Directorate was aimed at building friendship and sportsmanship among the youth of the areas.

Mr Yim said the event was also aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and co-existence between Ghana and Korea.

He expressed the hope that the event would inspire and challenge the youth in promoting better goodwill between the two countries.

Miss Akua Sena Dansua, Minister for Youth and Sports is expected to grace the occasion.
