Kotoko, Hearts match in London in limbo amid Coronavirus fears

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised for the cancellation of the Asante Kotoko vs Hearts of Oak Independence Day Anniversary game in London because of the threat of Coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health, last week advised that the London meeting is suspended because of the infection rate of the deadly Coronavirus.

The Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Isaac Asiamah is set to meet the organisers match as well as the GFA later this week.

Meanwhile, the crunch game was officially launched earlier today in the United Kingdom with representatives of both clubs and some Ghanaian journalists present at the ceremony.

This is the first time the two glamorous clubs are going to play outside the African continent.

Defeated Ghana FA presidential candidate, Nana Yaw, initiated the historic game in consultation with Pro Ball Management.

The game is billed to be played on April 11 at the Barnet Stadium.
