Asante Kotoko manager, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has named Cameroon striker Franck Etouga Mbella as the best player he has ever managed.
Etouga played under Ogum at Asante Kotoko, where he was the star man of the Porcupine Warriors' title-winning season in 2022.
He scored 18 goals to win the Golden Boot, steering Kotoko to their 25th league title.
Ogum spoke highly of the striker, highlighting his technical qualities and labelling him as a killer.
"I will go for Mbella, yeah. He is technically good. Mbella is a killer," he said in an interview with TV3.
When asked about his toughest Ghana Premier League away destination, he said Dormaa Ahenkro, the home of GPL side Aduana Stars.
Ogum explained that his choice stems from the Dormaa people's passion for winning and creating an uncomfortable environment for their opponents.
"Everything about the place makes the games difficult. They are so passionate about their team. The team is a traditional team and there is the perception that they are also the best in the country. They have a win mentality at Dormaa, so the build-up to the game tells you that you are not at the safest of places."
Prosper Narteh Ogum has managed top-flight football in Ghana for over a decade, winning one title.
He won the title with Asante Kotoko in the 2021/2022 season during his first spell with the club. He returned in 2023.
