Kotoko battle Hearts of Oak for Elvis Opoku

The two glamorous clubs in Ghana, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are in hot chase for Aduana Stars' Elvis Opoku, Kickgh.com can confirm.

The young box-to-box midfielder has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs in the ongoing transfer window.

Hearts and Kotoko are in serious talks with the Dormaa based club to land the former Bibiani Gold Stars enforcer after his stellar performance in the just ended season.

"We have received several offers for Elvis [Opoku] but we have told them to speak to Aduana Stars" a close source to the player told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.

"I can now say Hearts of Oak and Kotoko are the two clubs that contact us every day but some clubs have also shown interest"

It is believed that Obuasi AshantiGold and Medeama have also expressed interest in signing the diminutive midfielder.

Opoku was outstanding in the 2016 GHALCA FAB G6 tournament and helped them to clinch the title.
