Accra, Dec 22, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Wednesday exhibited an admirable fighting spirit to topple Power FC with a 3-2 win in their preparatory friendly match played at the El-Wak Park in Accra. The visitors who fought from a goal deficit struck thrice through Kwame Attram and Daniel Yeboah to call off the bluff of the home side who opened the scores in the eighth minute mark through Sampson Ocran. Ocran who was put through from the middle managed to cleverly dribble Daniel Acquah before shooting past goalkeeper George Owu who had to give way to substitute Mohammed Alhassan in the second half.
Kotoko who rested most of their regular players made many fruitless attempt at goal with the Frank Osei-led attack missing target narrowly on the few times they threatened to find the net. The jubilation that greeted Attram's equalizer 14 minutes later could be compared to a World Cup final goal of any kind. From the recess, Kotoko translated their dominance into goal when Yeboah connected a well-taken free kick to put his side in the driving seat.
Power introduced Awudu Adama into the game which slightly worked in their favour with the player scoring perhaps the most outstanding goal on the afternoon when he toward over the Kotoko rear to brilliantly nod home a cross from the right to even the score line in the 58th minute.
But Power's jubilation was short lived as Attram capitalised on a quick counter attack, which caught the homesters defence pants down to slot home their third and his second a minute later.
