Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko has begun the process to seek for 'Solidarity Contribution' from Kazakhstan top-flight club Shakhter Karagandy for former player Gideon Baah.
The defender played for the Porcupine Warriors from 2008 to 2014 where he made over 30 appearances and scored 2 goals in the process.
He subsequently earned a transfer to Honka FC and has since moved on to play for a host of clubs abroad.
At the beginning of 2020, he was signed by Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Shakhter Karagandy as he parted ways with Honka on the back of a successful second spell.
In a letter from the management of Asante Kotoko to Gideon Baah’s new club, they are demanding for the payment of solidarity contribution for the player's early development.
