Kumasi Asante Kotoko, arguably the nation's most successful club, would relish back-to-back defeat of arch-rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, as the two glamorous sides clash in a premier league encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors beat the Phobians 1-0 in the first round of the league match played in Accra.
Kotoko has in recent times become dominant in Ghana's version of the "El-Classico"- running away with wins on three consecutive occasions.
Coach Micheal Osei would not give out much when he spoke to the GNA Sport in Kumasi but left no doubts about the raw determination of the players to deliver joy to the club's teeming and sometimes fanatic supports.
He was upbeat and said Kotoko was well focused on the game and that the players had psyched up.
Having lost heavily to Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday, Kotoko certainly cannot afford another defeat in two matches running and therefore not leaving any stone unturned.
"We cannot imagine losing another match, especially in front of our loyal supporters", Coach Osei stated.
Hearts are currently at the apex of the league table with 37 points with Kotoko on 32 points and lying at the fourth position.
Kotoko is confident it has what it takes to send the Phobians back to Accra empty-handed and the technical team are already appealing to the supporters to throng the stadium in their numbers to cheer their idol club to victory.
