Managing Director of Dechris Company Limited and a die hard Kotoko fan, Christopher Damenya has promised to buy a brand new bus for the club if the team is able to win the CAF Confederations Cup this year.
Damenya, who is a staunch supporter of Ghana’s most successful club, Asante Kotoko and patron for Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC) is known for his mouthwatering and envious benevolence gesture towards the club.
Information reaching us indicates, he has secured a bus for Greater Accra Regional Circles Council (GARCC) to convey members of the region to Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium to watch an epic encounter between Kotoko and CARA of Congo on Sunday.
The astute business mogul is the one who solely bought former Hearts of Oak wonder-kid Ashittey Ollenu for Asante Kotoko SC and has also done incalculable things for the club.
The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with nine-time Congolese champions Club Athletique Renaissance Aiglon Brazzaville (CARA) on Sunday 11th February, 2018 in the preliminary stage of CAF Confederations Cup.
Speaking with our reporter Sasu Danquah High Priest ahead of the match, the amazing philanthropist business mogul promised to reiterate his kind gesture towards the club should the win CAF Confederations Cup.
“I have promised the team a new bus if they win CAF Confederation Cup this year and trust me, I will honour it with a lot of others if God being so good they are able to win the cup for Asanteman” Said Damenya.
“The players themselves are very aware of what I can do for them. I don’t disappoint, so, if they win I will surprise them apart from the new bus I will buy for the team” he added.
The two-time Africa Champions league winners are hopeful to replicate what they did during 1983 when the club took full charge over the whole of Africa.
