Parma have finalized the loan transfer of Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah from TSG Hoffenheim, MTNFootball.com can confirm.
The Italian Serie A side have the first option to buy the 21-year-old if he impresses at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
“I am happy that Parma has shown the interest and confidence they had in Acquah to call him back for the season,” the player’s agent Oliver Arthur told MTNFootball.com.
“They are even prepared to own his economic rights when he proves his wealth this season,” he disclosed.
Acquah will be making a return to the club he left in January this year to sign for the German Bundesliga side where he had a frustrating spell.
He never made an appearance for Hoffenheim and was regarded surplus to requirement by new coach Markus Gisdol who managed to save the club from relegation.
Acquah will join the Gialloblu (Yellow and Blues) next month for pre-season. He played 13 Serie A matches for Parma and he is admired by head coach Roberto Donadoni.
