Asante Kotoko management member Edmund Ackah has revealed the club is only honoring their FA Cup game against Real 24 hours because the competition is being sponsored by MTN who also sponsored their club.
The Porcupine Warriors initially rejected the change in venue for their MTN FA Cup round of 32 match against Real 24 Hours FC this Saturday.
The match was originally scheduled to be played at the Wa Sports Stadium but was later moved to the Tumu Park.
Edmund Achah who is part of the management board of Kotoko says they have decided to play the game due to the partnership they have with MTN.
“We will play the game against Real 24 United but only because MTN sponsor that competition and they also sponsor us,” he told Accra based Happy FM
“The pitch is not up to standard but we will have to do so because of the benefit of football.”
