Kumasi Asante Kotoko is currently struggling in the ongoing Ghana Premier League having accumulated just ten points from a total of 21 from seven games played.

They travelled to Dawu and lost against Dreams FC in a match day-seven fixture.

Henry Asante Twum, public relations officer of Dreams FC says the Kumasi-based club lacks a strategic plan and their poor showing currently in the league is evidence enough.

The Dreams FC PRO asserts that the current crop of players playing for Kumasi Asante Kotoko are old and cannot compete with teams that have blended youthful players with a bit of experienced ones.

Kotoko supporters lashed out at their team after that loss, claiming some of their players should be sacked because they cannot play full 90 minutes.

Mr. Asante pointed out that players like Wahab Adams, Owusu Sefa, Eric Donkor and Jordan Opoku are all old players who cannot compete consistently at the top level.

“You cannot plan with these players and not have a future plan because next two years or less, the player will fade out”, said the Dreams FC PRO.

"Once they fade out, they will need equally good players to replace them. It's unfortunate Kotoko does not have the plan to replace those players and that is where the danger is for Kotoko".
