Policy analyst of Asante Kotoko Yaw Amoh Sarpong has disclosed that management have tabled an improved per diem for the team ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors are gearing up to open their Confederation Cup campaign against Sudanese side Al Hilal on Sunday, February 3.
And as part of motivation for the team ahead of the trip to Omdurman, Executive Chairman of the club Dr. Kwame Kyei has increased the team's per diem to $500.
"I will applaud Prof Dr Kwame Kyei for his efforts both financially and emotionally," Mr Sarpong stated on Oyerepa FM.
"Per diems of the players have increased to $500 and it should tell you the importance he has attached to this competition."
"In Sudan, accommodation will cost us $250 per night."
