Failed National Circle's Chairman aspirant, Solomon Ofosuware has questioned why the club's CEO, Mr. George Amoako should be paid more than the players who are the key actors on the field.
According to him the CEO does nothing in the club to be deserving of more salary than the players who play on the field.
In the wake of the Felix Annan transfer demands, several question are being asked about how Asante Kotoko a team that always wants the best in terms of results and trophies pay their players.
"If they want to compete with Esperance, TP Mazembe, in the Champions league then they must review upwards the salaries of our players."
"How can George Amoako’s salary be GH 6000 and the players who are the key actors will be taking GH 2000 whiles he does not play football." He told Kumasi based OTEC Fm.
"What job is he doing to be deserving of receiving more than the players"
"If the CEO (George Amoako) of Kotoko receives GHC 6000 per month then the players deserve twice what he earns. It's wrong to give such amount of money to a CEO who doesn't play an integral role in the team. The minimum salary for a Kotoko player should be $1000 if they (Kotoko) want to compete in Africa" He added
