Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalkeeper and captain Felix Annan could be out for a long period of time after picking up an injury during training session.
The shot-stopper could be a huge doubt for the porcupine warriors when the league season commences on 28th December 2019.
Felix sustained an injury to his ankle while training with rest of the squad but it remains unclear how long he will be out for the season and whether surgery may be required.
The Black Stars goalie has sat out training since the beginning of the week as doctors try to assess the extent of damage and for how long.
In his absence the mantle will fall on Black Meteors goalie Kwame Baah who kept post for the team at the just ended Afcon U-23 tournament.
