What would Kotoko do at the end of the football season? I'll tell you. At the end of the football season, Herbert Mensah's administration has tasked Coach Ernest Middendrop, often referred to as Coach "Midie'n dropu" to embark on a countrywide tour to assess some noted players for eventual recruitment.

Club sources told Mail Sports that the exercise will involve top- level circle management members in every region. Classified information to this paper revealed that the involvement of the circles in the exercise is to help solve the shortage of top marksmen afflicting the club.

In fact the main aim of the exercise is to hunt for some ready made top scorers to lift the fortunes of the club.

Sources close to Herbert Mensah told Mail Sports that the involvement of the circles in the exercise is, to build an atmosphere of transparency, and bridge the widening gap of mistrust and misrepresentation b@#%$en management and the circles. It will also serve the circles to instil the spirit of responsibility in the circles to aid the club in all ways conceivable.

An unimpeachable source from the club told us that as from the next football season the regional circles council would be responsible for hosting the club, (boarding and lodging), and all the welfare needs of the team. In another development, the Greater-Accra Regional Circles Council, is going through its aged constitution in order to bring it up to the modern demands of the club.
