After his short spell with injuries, Saddick Adams returned to the pitch for Asante Kotoko in their international friendly against Benin’s league champions, Buffles du Borgue on Thursday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
He featured for 45 minutes as Kotoko won 1-0. In a post-match interview, he told FootballMadeInGhana.com that, he’s feels much better now. “I’m feeling good. It’s almost one and half month. Sometimes, when you go through [these times] and come back, you [there will be] fear.
“I’m ok. I was able to play the first half without any problem. I was able to assist for the goal. I was happy with my performance” said the striker. Saddick Adams also lauded the attitude of his striking partner, Yakubu Mohammed.
“Footballers can have a bad season and a good season. I give credit to Yakubu; he doesn’t listen to the criticism that will affect his confidence. He showed it when he came in. We are praying for injury-free season to be able to play and help the team” he added.
