Asante Kotoko’s newly-appointed Head of Communications, Dr Ernest Opoku, is pledging an all inclusive policy in the discharge of his duties.
This approach, he has described critical to ensuring effective information flow to keep the club’s teeming supporters updated on activities.
Confirming his appointment in an interview with the GNA Sports in Kumasi Dr Opoku expressed delight at the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity whilst waiting the formalisation of his new role.
“I had been yearning to serve Kotoko in an official capacity in order to contribute my quota towards the team’s sustainable growth”, he said.
Information-pieced-together by the GNA Sports indicated that the management of the Porcupine Warriors settled on the medical Practitioner after extensive consultations with various stakeholders of the club.
Dr Opoku cited the supporters as the core of the club and intends to build his work with them in mind.
He announced plans to select two vibrant supporters from the Regional Circles Council across the nation to form the base of the new Team.
He also assured the media that he would not be discriminatory in his work but work with all interest groups.
The medical practitioner takes over from Listowel Yesu Bukarson, who has been reassigned as the Marketing Director.
