The management of Kotoko and reputable insurance firm, Hollard Ghana have signed a five-year partnership agreement that would among other things see the latter insuring players of the club. The partnership agreement, reached last week, enjoins Kotoko to give Hollard Ghana the best of mileage over the period.
As part of the deal, Hollard Ghana will as well see to the club's pre-season training aborad. The impelmenting agency of the agreement is Impilo Global Investments and BigCash Limited who are represented by Mandla Dlamini and Kwabena Bonsu.
Operations Manager, George Kennedy, briefing Asantekotokosc.com in an interview disclosed that, the new partnership mutually serves the interests of Hollard Ghana and Kotoko. While urging Kotoko supporters and the general public to patronize the services of Hollard Ghana, George Kennedy said, Kotoko would do everything enshrined in the agreement to make it worthwhile.
“This is an important new relationship aimed at serving the interests of both parties. They are going to insure our players and where there are injuries that require treatment abroad, they will facilitate the process with airfares and medication for example” said Kennedy.
“They are also going to help in the area of projects. They’ve visited Adako Jachie; we’ve requested three changing rooms; all that will be looked at. We’re going to give them adequate mileage in return – branding of training kits, providing pitch panels, and largely giving them the necessary presence as agreed upon in our deliberations” the Operations Manager added.
