Asante Kotoko forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu has donated to the Techiman Children’s home in the Bono East Region of Ghana
The 24-year-old made a cash donation and also presented items including provisions, drinks, toiletries among other things to the orphanage.
Fatawu was the star man for the Porcupine Warriors as they emerged champions of the just ended Tier 1 GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition.
He was named the Most Valuable Player and Joint-top scorer after bagging 10 goals at the end of the novelty league.
Kotoko won the title after beating Karela 4-1 on penalties in the finals which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium on June 23, 2019. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time.
