Kotoko supporters beaten in presence of police

Reports from Tarkwah indicates that the fans of Tarkwah based Medeama SC allegedly beat and dragged out the supporters leadership of Kumasi Asante Kotoko from the T&A Park as police stood unconcerned prior to their Match Day 21 league clash.

In an interview with the Communications Manager of Asante Kotoko, Kweku Ahenkorah, he confirmed the news and added that it was barbaric for Ghana football.

“How can this happen? Chairman K-5 and all the other supporters have been beaten and dragged out of the stadium while their wallets and other belongings in their pockets have been looted”, Kweku Ahenlorah confirmed.

“As I am talking to you right now, they are all behind the gates”, he added.
