Kotoko to fly Abdul Ganiu to Germany for surgery – PRO

Injured defender Abdul Ganiu Ismail is set to be flown to Germany for surgery on his knee according to the Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko Kennedy Boakye Ansah.

His comments came after the injured defender recently cried out for help after going through severe pains and difficulties in walking following the knee injury sustained.

In an interview with Asempa FM, the PRO has revealed that there are arrangements to fly out the defender abroad for the needed surgery.

”We are preparing to take Abdul Ganiu to Germany for surgery,” he said.

Abdul Ganiu sustained the injury during the club’s campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup clash last season.

The defender who joined from Karela United had publicly cried of neglect but the Porcupine Warriors swiftly swept away the news and are set to send him to Germany for the necessary surgery.

Ganiu, 23, was key to the Porcupine Warriors’ campaign last season and will be influential in their upcoming campaign.
