Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Maxwell has called on all departments of the team to be patient, saying his outfit will bounce back on time and return to winning ways.
The Kumasi based club woes continued over the weekend after suffering a 2-1 defeat to lower tier side Asokwa Deportivo in the MTN FA Cup.
Speaking after an emergency meeting held between the Executive board chairman of the club and players, he expressed optimism about his side bouncing back to where they belong to.
“We know our fans are not happy with us after losing to a lower division side. I think the fans deserves to expressed their grievances about the team’s performance”
“But we will bounce back, fight back and get this team where it belongs. We are very serious. This normally happens to clubs but we have to change things as soon as possible starting from this weekend” he said.
Kotoko will take on Bechem United in match day 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
