The General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Samuel Opoku Nti, believes the Porcupine Warriors will redeem Ghana’s image following Hearts of Oak’s embarrassing 5-0 defeat in the hands of Al Alhi a few weeks ago.
Nti is confident the Kumasi lads have prepared very well towards the international friendly.
“Alhi Tripoli received us very well when we arrived in Libya, we have prepared very well and I am very confident we will redeem the image of Ghana when we play our first match against Al Alhi Tripoli on Wednesday,” Nti told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
Due to political unrest in Libya, the Libyan league has been suspended over the past three years and the team is using the friendly to shape up ahead of the African club competitions which will commence in February.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently in Libya and are preparing for their first game against Al Alhi Tripoli on Wednesday.
