Kotoko won't miss Jackson Owusu much – Lamine

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will not miss the services of Jackson Owusu who got injured on last weekend in a special Sunday match at the Maakro park, according to board member, Alhaji Lamine.

The former Berekum Chelsea midfielder was integral in Kotoko’s second place finish in the premier league last year, and his absence has is considered a big blow.

“His absence is a big blow but I don’t think we will miss him that much because we have other quality players who are ready to step up to the plate,” Alhaji Lamine told Citi FM.

“We will definitely feel his absence but like I said we have other players who are ready and waiting for the chance to play too and we believe they will equally give us what we need.”
