Kuffour meets Minister on October 4

Accra, Oct. 2, GNA - Former Black Stars defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour will on Tuesday, October 4, pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Clement Kofi Humado at his office.

The visit is to officially solicit for the support of the Ministry and officially welcome the Minister to his testimonial match billed for Decembe= r 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

Kuffour will also discuss the level of preparations towards the match, which is expected to be graced by globally acclaimed players including Oliver Khan, Pablo Thiam, Stefan Effeberg, Edgar Davids, Patrick Kluivert, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Austin 93Jay Jay" Okocha and Samuel Eto'o. It will be the first ever testimonial for a Ghanaian player. Kuffour ended his illustrious career spanning almost two decades in 2008.
