Former Aduana Stars CEO, Albert Commey, has shown his utmost appreciation to Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kurt Okraku for the latter's immense financial support throughout his health struggles.

Commey, in an interview with Ernest Brew Smith on YouTube, was full of gratitude to the GFA president, stating that Kurt has put him on a GH¢3,000 monthly allowance.

He said the support helped him cover the cost of drugs to treat his sickness.

"Kurt Okraku has helped me a lot ever since it (sickness) started. He sends me 3,000 GHC monthly because the drugs are two. Due to that, I'm always happy," he said.

He also noted that he has not been the only beneficiary of Kurt's benevolence, stating that the GFA president offers financial assistance to journalists and students.

"Whenever I hear people attacking him I get annoyed because they don't know him. Even some journalists like Odiasempa, asked him who gave him money to treat his illness. He (Kurt) pays several people's school fees but he never talks about it."

"I appreciate what Kurt has done for me. I asked him for something last week and he will give it to me. So if anybody wants to help me I will be glad, but if you can't it's all good."

Albert Commey is a veteran football administrator, serving several Ghanaian clubs including Ashanti Gold, Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars.
