Black Stars forward, Kwabena Owusu has set sight on qualifying Cordoba into the La Liga.
Owusu joined Cordoba from top flight side, Leganes on a season long loan.
The 22-year-old has been on loan on four occasions since signing for Leganes from SC Accra.
All stints have come with Spanish lower tier sides where he commands regular shirt.
His first loan was with Toledo and later followed at Oviedo.
He returned to Leganes after the loan spell but was again sent to Cartagena.
His next loan deal was with Salamanca which was his best in all the spells.
In an exclusive interview with WEEKLYSPORTSGH.COM, the 6 feet forward says he is bent on helping Cordoba qualify into the La Liga next season.
“All eyes are on me now, the supporters, coaches and everybody is looking up to me.” He told Weeklysports.com
“Coming from Leganes, I’m seen as a big player so all eyes are on me.”
“ I just hope and pray for an injury-free season to be able to help Cordoba qualify to the LaLiga. That is my aim now.” He told Weeklysportsgh.com.
Kwabena Owusu will be spending his fifth loan at Cordoba where he has already started on a good note in the Segunda.
Kwabena Owusu was part of Ghana’s squad at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
