Veteran sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah has stated that he does not believe Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, can be unseated during the FA Presidential Elections, stating that the CAF Executive Committee member will be the President of the nation’s soccer governing body for life.

Ofeibia Ramatu, who is yet to publicly reveal her affiliation to any registered Ghanaian football club, has expressed interest in contesting Nyantakyi during the election in September this year.

Another woman, UK based entrepreneur Dentaa Amoateng recently revealed during a BBC interview that she will prepare to unseat the Wa All Stars owner in 2020.

“He has the goodwill of the electorates so it’s going to be difficult for him to be unseated. He is going to be the president of life for Ghana football just as Sepp Blatter and Issa Hayatou have entrenched themselves,” he told Happy FM.

Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is aspiring to replace Issa Hayatou as CAF Boss, has been President of the Ghana FA since December 2005 after defeating Ade Coker and Kojo Bonsu in an election.
