Ghana ace Kwadwo Asamoah has congratulated Emmanuel Frimpong for earning his debut Ghana call-up.
Frimpong, a former England youth international, was named in Kwesi Appiah’s 24-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan on March 24.
The 20-year-old’s nationality switch was ratified in November last year by FIFA after a two-year wait.
Among the many friends who wished him well is the Udinese star Asamoah, who posted on his official Twitter page, “Congrats bro @IAMFRIMPONG26 #BOH”
Frimpong himself expressed his happiness by posting on his Twitter page: “Proudest moment of my football career.”
