Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will return to the starting line up of Inter Milan when they host Napoli in the Serie A on Boxing Day.
The 30-year-old is returning from a match suspension, which saw him miss Inter's 1-1 draw with Chievo Verona on Saturday.
Asamoah is likely to start on the left side of defence despite coach Luciano Spalleti's midfield debacle after the indefinite suspension of Radja Niangolan.
The Ghana international has struggled in recent weeks after his howler saw Inter exit the UEFA Champions League.
Despite his struggles, the ex-Juventus star has been one of the key figures at Inter Milan this season.
The 30-year-old has played 14 games in the serie A and has a goal to his credit.
Inter Milan sit third on the table in Italy, seven points behind second-place Napoli and sixteen points adrift of leaders Juventus.
A win against Napoli will see them cut the points gap to four.
