Kwame Poku edges closer to Asante Kotoko move

Asante Kotoko are close to the signing of Nkoranza Warriors highly-rated forward Kwame Poku, according to media reports.

Poku, 20, who scored ten goals for Nkoranza Warriors during the GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition campaign is reported to have landed in Kumasi ahead of his imminent move to Asante Kotoko.

The sharpshooter was heavily linked with a move to regional rivals AshantiGold SC following his superb display in the Normalisation Committee Special Competition but the move fell through at the last minute.

Poku was a member of the Ghana U23 team but he was left out of the final squad for the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
