Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey says that his confidence is coming back after his team secured a spot in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals.

The 24-year-old recently came under criticism for his shaky performance in the past few matches of the tournament.

However, the shot stopper admits that he is still coming into terms with playing in a big tournament and has taken heart after the Black Stars' 2-1 victory over Tunisia on Wednesday.

"It's normal. This is my first big tournament so it would take time for me to get into the system and today [Tunisia match] was good," Kwarasey told reporters during a post-match press conference.

"It was nice to get a good game again because I haven't felt that I have been on top. Today, it felt good, something is coming back again, so it's nice."

He went on to warn his critics that he will let his next match against Zambia respond to their views.

"You have to accept certain things. The only thing I can do is to answer them on the field and I think today, what I did for me is normal and I think I can do much, much better."
