Kwasi Appiah will maintain Asamoah Gyan as captain- Reports

Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to maintain striker Asamoah Gyan as captain of the Black Stars.

According to local media reports, Appiah has already contacted Gyan and informed him of his decision to keep him as leader of the team.

Appiah named Asamoah Gyan as skipper before the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Since then Gyan has been leading the team and he is expected to continue with Appiah's reappointment.

The two will be first take to the field in a game against Ethiopia which marks the first of the qualifiers to 2019 African Cup of Nation at Cameroon.
