Former French international Willy Sagnol and Al Khartoum coach Kwesi Appiah have appeared as the two front-runners for the Black Stars coach, according to multiple media reports.
According to media reports, the two coaches will be interviewed by the Ghana FA six-member search committee.
Sagnol, who was reported to have missed out on the five-man shortlist by the committee, was considered following Patrice Cateron’s decision to withdraw.
The ex-France defender will go head-to-head against ex-Ghana captain Appiah, who many have touted as the favourite for the vacant position.
The Ghana Football Association was reported to have received over 110 applications for the Black Stars position.
