James Kwesi Appiah, head coach of the Black Stars says the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has been very supportive ever since he took over the job, despite suspecting some level of interference earlier.
He has stated that what really helped him was to alert them he did not want any kind of interference in his job as the head coach and they have complied.
“Although I thought there was going to be some level of interference from the GFA, they have left all critical technical decisions to me.
“I made them know things I don’t like as a manager and ever since I took over, they have really been cooperative,” he told Metro fm.
The former Black Stars skipper was appointed the head coach of the Black Stars in 2012 and he became the first Ghanaian to qualify Ghana for the FIFA World Cup.
