Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi, has debunk media reports that he has been defrauded to the tune of $600,000.00 by a business partner.
The affable head of the Ghana FA says Pro KN Company LTD, a construction company which deals in the laying of pipes and other projects of which he is a shareholder of, was 'duped" by its director, Joe.
According to Nyantakyi, Pro KN Company operations are funded by debts and financiers, and not by him.
"I have not been defrauded by anybody and I have not made any complaint to the police that I have been defrauded by a business partner," the Wa All Stars bankroller told allsports.com.gh
"I am a shareholder of Pro KN Company LTD, the company had a business deal with someone and director of the company, Joe, duped the company and went onto hiding for six months." He clarified.
As a shareholder of the company, Kwesi Nyantakyi admits he is affected, but media reports that he the financier of the company is not true.
"Oh yes (I am equally affected), anything that affects the company affects me; the company is on its knees. Business has closed down. And can't say I am not affected.
But it should be clarified that I am not the (sole) financier of the company.
"Pro KN Company is financed by equity and debts. The company borrows its name to source funding for its projects. The operations of the company is funded by debts and financiers, not by me. The money required for its projects is huge and I don't have such money."
